Tips for amazing skin before prom

Wondering how to get your skin look glowing before your prom? It's actually easier than you think. You don't need to buy expensive skincare products or under go treatments. All you need are these 5 tips to make you look extra pretty for prom.

1. DRINK A LOT OF WATER
I'm guilty of not drinking enough water everyday. I always have to remind myself through my planner to drink 8 glasses of water a day. I know some of you are really into drinking a lot of water, but I'm not used to it as I tend to go to the bathroom and pee everytime I feel like I need to. Sorry for mentioning that, but it's true. *laughs* I'm actually doing my best to hydrate my skin everyday and this will really be a huge impact in making my skin look more glowing and radiant. So you should do it too. *wink*

2. EXERCISE
Doing exercises can actually help improve your skin as it increases the oxygen supply in your bloodstream that will eventually help improve your complexion and will give you an instant glow. Plus it will surely help you get fit at the same time, making your body perfect for your prom dress.

3. GET ENOUGH SLEEP
Lack of sleep can leave behind dark circles and bags Which is definitely not what you want on prom night. Sleeping will help improve the texture of your skin and will give it that gorgeous glow. Make a sleeping schedule. I usually keep a page in my planner where I write the time when I wake up and sleep. This will help me keep track of my sleeping time.

4. EXFOLIATE
Doing this once or twice a week before the prom night will probably make your skin look fresh and less dull as it removes the dead skin every time. Even if you're wearing a cheap evening dresses, it won't even matter if you have silky beautiful skin that will surely get a lot of attention.

5. HOT SHOWER
Steam can actually help open your pores and can get all that bad stuff out of your skin and let the good stuff in. So make sure to take a hot steam shower once or twice a week.

  1. I think i'm so good with your points. I drink well, because i had problems about it and i used to it that i have to drink enough. But i sleep enough, do exercises and i love hot shower. :3 i love your post i think it helps lot of girls.

  5. I guess these tips can be used to any occassion or just in general if you want good skin. It's not only limited to prom...
    The hardest for me will always be sport. I just can't get myself to do it.
    It's not only because I tend to be clumsy and lazy when it comes to exercising but also because it's so hard for me OTL
