5 Beauty tips every girl should know before special occasions

Believe me, I know how hard it is to prepare for an occasion. You need to have enough time for preparation and put some effort on it. So I thought of making this post about 5 easy beauty tips to help get you ready for any occasions and have a great night!

When I started using makeups and other beauty supplies, I never really thought of using moisturizers. I always thought that it will make my face more oilier and I didn't want that.

But it is very important to use moisturizers before and after wearing makeup. You just need to find the right kind for your skin type. It will make your skin look healthy and smooth. You can read my "Everyday skincare products" if you want to know more about what kind of moisturizer I use. *wink*

Whether it's a cheap wedding gown, prom dress or even flat shoes. It really doesn't matter as long as it looks and feel good on you. I made a post about how to choose the perfect dress for your body type if you're wondering which kind of dress looks more flattering.

Also, you need to consider how the dress and shoes feels when you are actually wearing them. So take time to try out the clothes while you are still at home.

It is important to start whitening your teeth at least two weeks before the event. The perfect smile can make all the difference. *wink*

You can browse pinterest for inspirations and make a board of all the things you want to wear and how you are going to wear them. This will save you some time during the actual preparation.

You should never forget about this part. Prepare your essentials ahead of time. This might actually save you from mishaps. I made a post about prom essentials for the perfect night that you might want to check out.

How about you? What do you usually do in preparation for special occasions? Let me know in the comment section.

  1. Wow I love your blog! its so cute! and these tips really help!

  2. yay thank you for sharing dear =)

  3. I have to confess that I usually end up panicking only hours before the actual event because I never stick to plans I try to make... or I'm so super prepared that the whole thrill is gone because I will end up even easier stressed because of little things (because I've put so much work and pressure in the preparation already)... there is no inbetween.
Since I tend to the behavior I just described, preparing myself mentally is a big deal for me, too. If you get bitchy or stressed you'll end up looking tired and won't be able to enjoy the special event. No one wants a photo where you're sporting a frown to remind you, just how much you screwed up your own mood because you put too much pressure on yourself.

    ... OK.
I should stop. Thank you for the tips, it made me want to reconsider my way of preparing and hopefully improve myself. :D

  4. This article is very practical for us. Thank you for your suggestion. perfect dress
