PERSONAL CARE HAUL

I know this might look awkward to some of you. But I do need to buy stuff like these too. I'm just not sure why I'm doing a post about these. *laughs* So anyway, these are the things I bought for the month of April. I wanted to try new products and made sure to let you know in this post if it worked well for me. *wink*

The most awkward product for today's post is this Modess cottony pads with wings. Okay, how's that regular if it has wings? Can anyone explain it to me?! Gaaahhh. Anyway, Modess is my favorite brand for napkins. If you're wondering, tampons are extinct in the Philippines. *lol* I got two of these plus free 2 pads every pack. *yey*

This is one of the new products "to try" that I'm talking about. I got a bottle of Dove Deeply Nourishing body wash. I've read an article about soaps. To make the explanation a lot understandable, it dries the skin. So I'm trying this Dove one and see the results myself. I tried using it with my scrub gloves but it didn't produce any bubbles and quite hard to apply. This will work well with body wash puff.

Another new product is this Dove damage therapy straight and silky shampoo. Smells nice but the "straight and silky" claim wasn't really noticeable. Unless you use a conditioner maybe? :<

I honestly haven't tried this yet until now. But the packaging is very nice. I like the resealable lid. Unlike the regular ones that always loose it's purpose. *lol, hope you get what I mean* Can anyone tell me if these baby wipes are safe to use on the face to remove make up? I'm a bit hesitant. *haha*

I love my Clean and Clear blotting sheet, but it was too expensive. So when I saw this Watsons facial absorbent paper, I was sold. I got 2 packs for the price of one. Total of 200 sheets. I first I thought it was a decent product. But it was way too cheap and thin to pick up oil on my face. I need 2-3 sheets to remove the oil. *almost useless* I only need a sheet of my Clean and Clear to remove everything. I guess I have to finish these first and get back to the Clean and Clear one. *pssh*

Last new product is this Watsons Breath strips that can strip your tongue literally. *lol* It is way too minty. I have to tear half of it to be able to take one. *gahh* Well, it's my fault. I didn't read the "SUPER MINT" label before getting one. Lesson learned.

Have you tried any of these products yet?

  1. I've used Giggles baby wipes to remove my makeup, and it works just fine. No breakouts or anything. But probably that's because I also wash my face after removing my makeup.

  3. I'm always hesitant with Watsons products. Haven't tried any other blotting sheets that's as good as Clean and Clear's too.

BTW, I tagged you on my post: I got a Sunshine Blogger Award ^_^
