MY FIRST TRY: CALLIGRAPHY NAIL ART SET

I have received this product a few months ago but didn't have enough courage to use it on my nails. I have tried it once but I failed sooo bad. I didn't touch it since that day. lol. But since it was sent for a review, I have to give it a second chance to be able to make a good post. *phew* Honestly, I haven't really tried any kinf of calligraphy pen. So this was a really a challenge! *gaaah*

So the first thing that captured my attention when I got the package are these cute little paint. I got 10 of them in different color. My favorite would be white, black and red. Yup, to mix white and red to make a pink shade since there are non! *why make a nail art set without a pink shade?!*
I also got this pen set which includes 1 holder and 5 different tips. The tips can be used in different styles and designs. But I'm only using 1 as of the moment. Once you change the tip, you have to practice again as it is slightly different when it comes to holding the actual pen.
They also included some practice sheet and a CD (with instructions) but still, I have no luck on my first try. *insert sad moment here* But after a month of neglecting the set thinking that I have no use for it, I gathered a lot of courage to open it again and try it for the second time. Now with more patience. *lol*
Okay, don't laugh. I know, it's like 'm starting to learn how to write again. *haha* Imagine how patient I am while doing this. I keep on pushing the pen to distribute the ink to the paper. But it doesn't happen, until I dipped the pen into a blob of black ink! It pretty much helped me go through all the hardships with calligraphy pen. *hahahaha* I realized that it need to have ink up to the tip while you're refilling the pen. Oh well, you might need to watch a video tutorial on youtube. It helped me a lot!
After several trials, I managed to make these! *yay* Honestly it was really hard at first. But when you get the hang of it, you can make different designs easily! The only thing that worries me are the ink's quality. I haven't really tried it on my nails. I'm not sure if it will last long. Or if I need to seal it every time with a clear top coat.

Overall, this was a fun and challenging nail art tool for me. I recommend this for professional nail artists as it was way complicated than your regular nail art tools. BTW, this set was sent to me by TMART.com. They sell tons of Health and Beauty products! Just click the link if you're interested.

I WANNA KNOW: Have you tried calligraphy pens? How was it?

You see the hole on the nibs? :D You have to dip until or over the hole to make it work :D Hihi. I have some calligraphy pens specifically the Deleter pens and sadly I haven't found nail art inks that would make them work. I am only able to make them work using deleter inks, pilot inks and the parker ones. Might try the inks you just posted. :D But I can't find them on the website. :(
