HOW TO ORGANIZE YOUR LIFE

We will be doing something different for today's post. I'll be showing you a guide on how you can organize your daily activities. Not saying, mine's perfect. But this is my current method that might be helpful for some of you especially those who are still going to school or work. I cannot imagine myself without a planner. I am the person who always *yes always* forgets the exact date of a certain event. Like if you were to ask me when was the last time I ate at Yellowcab, I literally won't remember. I will probably answer you 'last month' then there will be a follow up of 'what the heck, I'm not even sure'. I think I have to take memory enhancers *again*. Thankfully there's such thing called planners. *haha* Alright, so much for that. Let's start!

[1] Get a planner. I suggest you buy a planner at any school supplies store because it is so much cheaper. Well obviously I got mine from Starbucks but you can also get one online or other cafes if you're into that kind of thing. It doesn't have to be from that brand. Okay, so this is my second planner from Starbucks but honestly I think I failed filling up my last one *which you can read in my 'Starbucks pen & planner' post* that's basically because I've been attached so much with my phone's calendar *if you're aware of Jorte app, you'll be addicted!*. Oh, just a little disclaimer, I am no way affiliated with Starbucks. *how i wish*

[2] Be prepared. The first thing you wanna do when you got a planner is to write down all the important / upcoming dates like birthdays, meetings and other celebrations! Or if you're a bit lazy like me, do it a month earlier so you have enough time to prepare gifts and other important things before the event!

[3] Use two pens as much as possible. Yes, in different colors. One for the important / upcoming events and the other one for the highlights of your day. More like the past and present. In this way, if you forget something, you can always go back to your planner and color coding makes it is so much easier.

[4] Bullets are your best friend. If you're not into bullets and you write in paragraph style it might be a problem when you're reviewing your organizer. Believe me, it is much easier to review in bullet style. Make it short but clear. This is best for students. *for assignments and such*

[5] Prioritize. Hard and important things must be written first and must be finished first! Keep that in mind. Once you're done with it. Other tasks will be as easy as pie. You can always use highlighters and mark the things that you already accomplished!

[6] Enjoy! Planners can help you organize you life but you don't have to put all your effort on it. It may spoil your day if you keep writing and actually do nothing in real life.

Alright! That's all for today's post! I hope it helped you a bit >.< How about you, do you also keep a planner? If yes, where did you get one?

  5. Kinda off topic but what did you do with the stickers (the one in the last pic)? I used them as some sort of artpic next to my memorable events but I saw some people put them in the front cover of the planner (if you look closely, the stickers resemble the designs in the cover).
