Hello~! It's been a while since I posted a lens review. I was looking
through my reviews and found out that my last lens review was dated
October 4, 2012. @_@ Gaaaahhhh... I still have tons of lenses waiting to
be reviewed. (-.-) Ok, back to reality. For today's review, I now have my
very first Mukuchu lens!
Mukuchu. com is a Brisbane based store in Australia, selling genuine EOS and GEO contact lenses from Korea since 2009. With a passion in Japanese street fashion, they have began supplying quality Japanese uniform fashion with hope to allow everyone to express their own sense of style. COLOR/DESIGN: ⚫⚫⚫⚪⚪ 3/5
- I really like the color of this lens. At first it looks gray in the container, but if you look closer you'll notice that it has a hint of soft purple on the rim. The color changes when you wear it. Mine turned blue-ish.
COMFORT: ⚫⚫⚫⚫⚪ 4/5
- I ordered my lenses in -5.50 grade. Originally I'm -5.00. Let me tell you the story why I got -5.50. In the past few weeks I felt like my sigh is getting blurry. I'm getting a lot of headache (not from this brand, and yes it does have -5.00 grade on both lens) so to make my life a lot easier I got -5.50 from Mukuchu. Thinking that my eyes are getting worst. So when Mukuchu lens came in, I got excited and tried it on. It was way too clear! But It doesn't feel uneasy at all. It felt okay. No more headaches! :)
ENLARGEMENT: ⚫⚫⚪⚪⚪ 2/5
- Honestly, I think this lens is a bit smaller than 14.0mm. When I'm wearing this, I can still see some of my iris on the sides of the lens. Especially on the bottom part of my iris. I'm into lenses with 15.0mm because it makes me look younger and I don't even don't know why?! /haha. Maybe my iris are bigger than the usual. XD You can notice it on the second photo of this post.
SHOP DELIVERY/FEEDBACK: ⚫⚫⚫⚫⚪ 4/5
- I'm quite impressed with Mukuchu. Some shop doesn't include products guides in the package. It does help you know. I also like the way they wrap the lenses with bubble wraps. They also added a loyalty card for their customers.
OVERALL RATING: ⚫⚫⚫⚪⚪ 3/5
- Overall, I like this lens for everyday use. But for something going out or for party I might use my 15.0mm lenses. I recommend this to those who likes regular sized lens. The color is very noticeable too. If you're into natural look, you might not like this lens. This lens is perfect for cosplay and vampy looks. It will also look good with a lot of make up. Wearing this without heavy makeup (especially eyeliner) will look awkward in my opinion. :)

Aw so cute! I need green lenses, maybe I will try mukuchu. I have never worn lenses before and have heard if you get them from the wrong place they can damage your eyes.
