MAKING EVERYONE CONFUSED..

I'm freaking out right now. Right after posting this and finished reading your comments I realized a lot of things. I apologize for moving to tumblr without saying it beforehand. I was so frustrated with blogger at that moment, so the only thing on my mind was to leave everything behind.

Maybe I need to ask your opinion on this. I dunno what to do or where to stick with. Should I start fresh on tumblr, or should I continue on blogger? HELP! T_T

Here are some of the things I noticed after using both platforms. I'm hoping this list will help me decide where to stick with. Also, your comments will be a big part on my decision.

TUMBLR PROS:
  • I can start fresh.
  • Socializing is more fun
  • Following is much easier
  • Live notifications
  • Connected to instagram
TUMBLR CONS:
  • 0 followers compared to blogger
  • Limited source of blog gadgets
  • I am not familiar with the layout codes T_T
  • I need to buy another domain
  • No Google Friend connect widget
  • For some reason, the theme that I like do not support LINKWITHIN :(
  • You can upload photo one at a time
  • Doesn't have built in stats (unless you use other site)

BLOGGER PROS:

  • I have a lot of followers already
  • Easier access for my blogger readers
  • I like how easy to upload multiple photos
  • Supports a lot of scripts, widgets and so on..
BLOGGER CONS:
  • Limited image capacity of 1GB. (but I can always use photobucket with 2gb capacity "only" to host my images. a bit of a hassle but it works.)
  • I hate my crappy posts (i might delete them soon)
  • It does have lots of spams but I can live with it

After listing the things about the two, I think I know what to choose. XD I might stick to my all time love... blogger. Not sure yet. (pfftttt.... Why am I still doing this article? Isn't it obvious that I still love blogger. I even revamped my blog layout to make it up to you.) However, just to make things clear, I will still consider your opinions about this. So please, please help me decide.:)
All you need to do is to leave TUMBLR or BLOGGER in the comment section.
Also, if you have any knowledge about any of these two,
please let me know so I can add it in this post.
Thank you!

  2. I use both. Taking advantage of Tumblr to use the way better image capacity onto my Blogger.

  3. Blogger! I left my 5 year old tumblr for blogger! :) I already gained a lot of followers there, a lot of notes and everything! Though I still check it once in awhile. I love blogger more.

  4. Stay with Blogger ♥
I started on Tumblr and I can tell you it was hard and people on Blogger are a lot nicer I realized.
Well like I said before, you should try Dropbox because you get 2GB and if you do referrals you get 500mb extra I think? It's free and you can sync it to all your computers :)

  8. Blogger! I think unlimited storage space na ngayon sa Photobucket even for 'free' users :) But there's a maximum photo size lang or something so they'll resize photos larger than that (I think that's how it goes. hehe) :)

  9. I would stick with Blogger and do two things: 1. Sign up for Google+ which immediately allocates you more space for photos. 2. Start saving your photos to a smaller size before you upload them.

  10. Okay, it's not so much that you get more storage space, but that some files will no longer count towards your 1G limit. Here is a link from google about this: http://support.google.com/picasa/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1224181

    Hope this helps!

  16. I am extremely impressed with your writing skills and also
with the layout on your weblog. Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself?
Either way keep up the excellent quality writing, it's rare to see a great blog like this one these days.

  18. I kinda find the difference between blogspot bloggers and tumblr bloggers. For me, if you're much into reblogging, or you want to fill your blog with photos, I think tumblr is perfect for you. but for blogspot blogger, I think they are more on sharing their thoughts and I think you should stay on your blogger la. You have a huge amount of followers. They'll be sad if you move! Including me as a new follower :>

  20. I've been surfing online more than 2 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It's pretty worth enough for me.

In my opinion, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet will
be much more useful than ever before.

  22. I leave a leave a response each time I like
a article on a website or I have something to valuable to contribute to the discussion.

Usually it's triggered by the passion communicated in the article I read. And on this article "MAKING EVERYONE CONFUSED..". I was actually excited enough to drop a thought ;-) I do have 2 questions for you if it's okay.
Could it be just me or does it look like some of the comments look like they are written by brain dead individuals?
:-P And, if you are writing at additional online sites,
I'd like to keep up with you. Could you make a list all of your shared sites like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?

  24. I know I don't post a comment all the time... But you had me do it. Hahaha.

Stick with blogger. It's not only the followers but also the reputation that google has assigned to your blog (i.e., page rank and indexed pages).

But if you decide to move to tumblr, that's ok. I follow you via google reader anyway, I can always subscribe to your new RSS

  28. Hi there! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog.

Is it hard to set up your own blog? I'm not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick.
I'm thinking about making my own but I'm not sure where
to begin. Do you have any points or suggestions? Thank you
