Korean Nail Patch Tutorial + GIVEAWAY

Hi! I've been receiving different products for review lately and I am very much thankful for it. I hope it wouldn't stop. HAHA. I'm back with another nail tutorial. But this time you don't need to be artistic and crafty. O yes, you READ it right. :D

I was contacted by Jessie of Dressupurnails to do a review for her nail patches and I was sooooo happy when she said that she's a great fan of my blog. YAAAAYYY! Sometimes, I feel like no one's reading my blog anymore T_T. -drama

Anyway, I told her that I would make an unboxing video for ya'll to see how the packaging and actual product looks like! :D Also, I tried my best to make a tutorial on how I applied the nail patches.

The product she's carrying are Nail Patch from Korea. It is a great nail art solution that minimizes inconveniences of nail polishes and nail art process. Nail patch is an innovative D.I.Y. nail product which offers you all the convenience of usual nail lacquers does not offer. It is...... EASY, QUICK, D.I.Y. and LONG LASTING nail art solution without BAD SMELLS and leave your nails its natural color even after long wearing.
  • EASY - All you need to do is simply stick the patch onto your nails.
  • QUICK - Nail art is done in a few minutes. No drying time. No more long waiting. The patterns are already printed on the patch.
  • D.I.Y. - Doesn’t require special skills. You can carry it anywhere and apply it regardless of locations.
  • LONG LASTING - Up to 1~2 weeks.
  • NO BAD SMELLS – No smell like nail lacquers. Even pregnant women can use this.
  • NO STAINS – The usual nail polish would turn your nail yellowish.
  • Regular patterns like straight line, lacey designs, that hand drawing can not achieve.

Here are simple steps to follow.

1. READY: have your nails cleaned and dried. No dirts, lotions or oil should be remained on nails.
2. SELECT: select the best-fitting strip for each nail.
3. PEEL : Remove protective plastic cover, then peel nail patches form backing paper.
4. APPLY : Place the strip against cuticle line. Press strip to nails from the center line then to left and/or right side.
5. SHAPE : Gently file away excess from nail edge.

To remove, you can simply remove it like regular nail polish with polish remover or peel it off.
One package is consisting of 2 set of 8patches, a total of 16 patches and a tape to seal the remaining patches in original plastic package for next use.

It is recommended that the remaining unused patches to be stored in original plastic packaging and SEAL it with the provided silver tape for your next use. The other part of patches can be used as French nail tip

If you find that you need extra shine on your nail patch after a few days, you may apply your favorite clear nail polish on top of nail patches.

Here's another video on how I applied mine :)

WHAT I LOVE:
  • Very neat to work with.
  • No drying time needed, so I can go back to typing for my blog again. hehehe
  • Quality of the product is very good.
  • Can't be remove by just washing your hands, scratching, and it doesn't even chip.
  • The most important thing that I love about this product is that it wouldn't make my nails yellow.
  • Stretches.
  • Very light compared to fake nails.
WHAT I HATE:
  • A bit expensive for P489.
  • Needs a little practice to not have bubbles on the design.
  • Weird smell when I first open the nail patches but disappears later on.
  • Some part of the patches are a bit big for my finger nails.

RATING: 4 out of 5

OVERALL:
  • It is a must to try this product! Honestly, I haven't tried any patches before. I have tried tons of nail stickers before and it was not as good as these patches. The adhesive of this product is really superb. I have no complaints about it. If you're looking for a fast and cute nail art design, you should really try this out. I think it's much more cheaper than going to salon. We're talking about the design here! Who can make those super details designs?! Unless you're going to digital nail art which I think is not very good when it comes to it's quality.

  16. The way this operates is the pink is the base portion
of your nail. Virtuous Violet is a beautiful midnight
mix of a hazy twilight blue and a deep royal purple. All in all,
I liked the glitter, and the stars and rhinestones.
