I just love doing haul posts!!! Keeps me updated with what I got recently. [Coz I tend to forget things easily. Especially the prices.. UURRG! LOL.]

A friend of mine which I didn't see for a very long time (4 or 5 years I guess) visits my mom last Wednesday at her work and asked if she could visit us with her mom on Friday. [My mom and hers are very good friends when we where in grade school.]

Friday: Unfortunately her mom didn't came with her. She's not feeling well. So, we talked a lot and shared some experiences (chikkas) from the things that happened to us when we where in college, especially LOVE LIFE! :)

After a long talk, she shared me that she's now working at Sophie (as an agent) and told me that If ever I want something from it, I could order from her directly. Of course with discount! :)

I wanted to make my next post as a haul that's why I didn't post anything since then. I wanted to wait for my Sophie stuffs! So, here's what I got:

TIPS: Mobile Phone Pouch and Screen Protector

Since I got my new phone I've been hunting for jelly cases and screen protectors that would fit in my HTC Desire HD. I searched the entire stalls and shops at SM Megamall Cyberzone and didn't find any. :( I don't wanna put my new phone in my bag unprotected, we all know what can possibly happen especially to touch phones with big screens. LOL
But good thing I found this cute pouch that fits with my phone perfectly! :) Plus, I don't have to struggle getting my tangled earbuds from my bag again coz of its zipped pocket. :)
TIP: I managed to have a screen protector for my phone. How? I asked a shop if it's possible to just cut the plastic protector to fit it on my phone's screen, and glad it works. :) I got it for P250.00 [$5.8] with labor already. [SM Megamall Cyberzone 5th Avenue]
You can buy screen protectors at any CDR-KING branches and you can use it for your phones, itouch, ipod/ipads and even laptops :) You can even cut it to your desired sizes. They're super cheap compared to what I got.
I have no idea that they have such screen protectors before I got mine. UURRGGG...! :| You can check it here http://www.cdrking.com/?mod=products&type=category&catid=65&main=65 :)

PRODUCT INFO:
  • Size:5 x 3.5inches
  • Brand: HALO
  • Color: Brown (outer) Red (inner) and White (pattern)
  • Comes with 2 pockets
    • 1st for phone
    • 2nd (with zipper) I use it for my earbuds.
  • Price: P249.75 [$5.8]
  • I'm not sure if they're selling different colors with this design.

I wonder, how do you show your love to your mobile phone? :)

A little something about me: What makes me busy/HAPPY?!

I started blogging last November 2010 and got addicted to it. I almost post reviews and random stuffs once or twice a day. But unfortunately, I need to catch up with what I really do before I got into blogging... Making cute handmade accessories from polymer clays! :D
I started molding cute stuffs last February 2010. Opened my own On-line shop on the same month and still enjoying the art of claying! (http://yummycharm.multiply.com) I'm a frustrated graphic artist. LOL. But who cares? That doesn't mean anything now that I have designed my own on-line shop. :D
This clay art is part of my life now. I personally think that I'm not gonna be like this if I didn't decide to make and sell this UBER-CUTE stuffs! No Yummycharm = no make ups, gadgets, money, lovely and friendly customers, honest and loyal resellers, happy times, etc. :)) I really owe it to my dear customers! :)
However, I cannot leave my blog world! :D I'm starting to enjoy it (especially when meeting new beauty friends) and would definitely update it often! :)

ELF, Revlon, Everbilena and Cetaphil Haul

It's me and my piggymine's 2nd anniversary yesterday (I use to call him piggy all the time! LOL) and yes, we went shopping! But honestly we just wanna watch a 3D movie again. Gulliver's Travels is a hilarious!

Anyway, here's what I got yesterday (with first impressions):
ELF Lucious Liquid lipstick P129.75 ($2.8)

  • Ok now, I'm totally obsessed with it. I'll buy more soon! :D
  • Great pigmentation and very smooth in application.
  • Little product. I want more! :D
ELF Super glossy lip shine SPF15 in Candlelight P129.75 ($2.8)
  • I hate it. :/ (but I love my Pink kiss gloss)
  • I compared it with my glossy lip shine in Pink kiss and it doesn't have the same amount of product. It's lesser and irritate(burns) my lips. I don't know why.

ELF Essentials Eye Shadow Palette Limited Edition in Party P249.75 ($5.55)

  • Again, I'm impressed with the pigmentation! (except the mint shade)
  • Glittery and great for dark/night makeup!
Everbilena Blush in Rose P110.00 ($2.4)
  • Small amount of product goes a long way!
  • I love the packaging.
Revlon Beyond Natural 2-way Foundation with SPF12 in 07 Medium Beige P875.00 ($19.4)
  • Honestly, I can't say anything about it unless  use it for like 10 days. As you all know, I have extremely oily skin so until now I'm searching for the best foundation that I can use for my makeup. :(
Cetaphil Oily skin cleanser 125ml P548.00 ($12.17)
  • This would be my 3rd bottle. and I love this product ever since! :D
Watsons Moisturizing lipbalm in Sweet strawberry and wild cherry P49.75.00 ($1.08) each
  • I just got this to get the free brush set. LOL. I can't resist blue products! ;p
Make up bag from Cetaphil FREE
  • Comes free with my cetaphil oily skin cleanser.
Hair Brush set from Watsons FREE
  • Comes free with a minimum purchase of P1,200.00 and any purchase participating products on SM Beauty (I got 2 moisturizing lip balms).

My First HTC mobile phone. [Big help Sir! :)]

After a long hunt of the best smart phones available in the market. (3 days of purely internet research. HAHA. I need to be sure before spending too much especially if it's my money.:p) I was told to get HTC Desire by my friends. Of course, I searched again for reviews especially vs the phones I really knew before I heard of HTC. (That would be the iPhone4, Blackberry Bold, and Samsung Galaxy S.

After reading some reviews with the iPhone 4, I personally think that I don't really need to have it because I do have my iTouch already. And the only thing I do now with it is browse through the net. Honestly, after a month or two, I'm kinda fed up with the games. But it was fun though and I will still keep it.

I can't use Blackberry's wi-fi features here in the Philippines if I'm not subscribed with Globe or Smart's internet plans. Unless I crack it that would definitely ruin the warranty. (That's what I know.)
image taken from
Why not Samsung Galaxy S? I really can't say something nice or bad about it, but I'm not just a fan of Samsung particularly when it comes to mobile phones. Had it ones and I wanted to try something new now.

Back to the main topic, I'm sort of mixed up with HTC Desire and HTC Desire HD. Is HTC Desire HD worth buying? Do I really need it's HD features? Honestly, I can't choose between the two.

So, I asked some advice from my former Computer Professor regarding Desire/HD. I wanted to have one this month but I'm pretty confused to what I'll get and what I need.

Being so kind and generous with his IT knowledge, he shares what he have in mind: (via Facebook message)
"I'm a big fan of Sony Ericsson. But my personal choice would be Xperia X10 (or even the mini version but most especially the Xperia Arc) :D

My wife is using the HD version.

To confuse you a bit less - the main difference is obviously the HD part. To compensate, it needs more "power" and having a 1GHz 8255 Snapdragon processor and 768 MB RAM are 2 of them. It also has a huge 4.x" screen so you can watch those HD creations. The 8MP camera is pretty good with face recognition, etc. And you can, of course, create HD videos in 720p. You can even hook it up to your TV.

The HTC Desire is a bit less than that.

I recommended the Desire/HD because I've seen it in action plus I'm a #droidlover :D And you know us in IT, we're not 'regular' users. We exploit them :D

Again, the main difference is the HD part. If you don't need that then I suggest you go for the Desire. Save some bucks and maybe spend it on accessories (like protection).

With these smartphones, remember 2 things (there's a lot but just 2 for now):

1. They tend to suck up your battery life. So, turn off everything feature that 'vibrates' and, especially, 3G. Unless needed of course.

2. They have 'background updates'. If you have, for example, enabled Facebook and Twitter (using the apps or the software that came with the phone, etc), they tend pull updates from your profile. So, if you're phone is configured for mobile internet (not the free WiFi stuff), prepare to pay for it. Literally. Unless of course your phone plan comes with mobile Internet.

I hope I'm able to help rather than confuse you more. Here's a comparison link (you'll notice the only difference is, in fact, HD):

____________________________________________

Anyhow, thank you to his kind response that actually made me get HTC Desire HD earlier. I'm totally impressed with my android phone. I think I'll just toss my iTouch and Nokia e72 back to their boxes now. LOL. Business and fun phone in one! :)

Hugs and kisses, Kat :>
